We Go. We Give. We tell the stories - Not so the attention is on us, but so others might see what can happen when ordinary people are willing to love a little bigger.
Our Hope is to raise children who look beyond themselves. Who notice the lonely, sit with the hurting, celebrate the overlooked, give when they can, and trust that God can use even the smallest act of kindness for something greater.

We believe kindness begins at home; in the way we speak, serve, forgive, notice, and love one another. As parents, we want our children to grow up knowing that they don't have to change the whole world to make a difference. Sometimes changing one person's day is enough.
We believe God places opportunities to love and serve all around us. He can use each of us as an instrument to share His love through simple acts of kindness. Kind Rooted is our family choosing to say yes to those moments and we are inviting you to do the same.
We're The Kind Rooted Family!
We’re a homeschooling, faith-driven family of eight who believes in living life with purpose, love, and a willingness to show up for others. Through seasons of hardship, raising children with disabilities, and countless doctor’s appointments, we’ve watched God show up again and again through the hands and hearts of other people.
Those moments planted the seeds of Kind Rooted. We know what it feels like to need someone to notice, to care, or simply to remind you that you’re not alone. Because of that, kindness has become more than something we do, it’s part of how we live and how we want to raise our children.
We also love to adventure. We love traveling, exploring new places, being outdoors, and seeing more of God’s creation together. Now we’re bringing those two parts of our life together, going near and far, meeting people along the way, hearing their stories, and looking for opportunities to make someone’s day a little lighter.
Our hope is to show our kids, and others, that kindness has no borders. You can make a difference across the street, across the country, or somewhere you’ve never been before.
Wherever this road takes us, we hope to leave a little good behind. And help the people we meet turn hard chapters into stories rooted in hope, kindness, and love.

Every act of kindness starts somewhere...
Travel has always been one of our favorite things to do as a family. We love going near and far, experiencing new places, meeting new people, and making forever memories together.
But over the years we've realized our travels often carry a purpose beyond the destination. Through trips around Minnesota and across the country, we've had the opportunities to meet needs, encourage people, serve families, and show up in ways we never could have planned.
We believe God has a way of leading us exactly where we need to be; especially when we pray about where to go and how we can be used while we're there.
For us travel has become more than adventure. It's one of the ways we experience God's direction, connection with people, and leave a little good wherever the road takes us.
